Construction Geometric Figures Using Python
Taught these lessons in a Geometry class at McClymonds High School during the Fall 2021 semester. Utilizes the Python Turtle module to help guide students in constructing Geometric figures. Examples of student work can be found here.
A mini-unit I taught on angle pairs during the Fall 2021 semester. Uses a combination of hands-on and technology based instruction to help students discover the properties of angle pairs, particularly those created when a transversal crosses a set of parallel lines.
Created this mini-unit in Statistics for my "Introduction to Curriculum & Pedagogy in Urban Secondary Schools" class. Uses a number of instructional methods including Group Investigation and Socratic Seminar. Details an authentic Summative Assessment where students design, produce and present a statistic analysis using local government data. Hope I can implement this one day!
